My bestfriend Shannon and I left Houston at 5:00 am and headed down I-10 towards New Orleans. We were tired but way too excited for our own good. We got into New Orleans at about 11:00am and went strait to the hotel and tried to check in but check-in wasn't until 4:00pm. The manager of the hotel was nice enough to give us a room to shower and relax until ours was ready, so we did and then watched Total Request. After that we went down to the front desk and got our room and as I was at the front desk Joey came in behind me and gave me a hug and then went up to his room. He had been down Bourbon Street checking out the shops with his buddies. I went out to the valet area of the hotel to get my bags and as I did half of Clinton, Mississippi arrived. Lance's bestfriend Allison and her friends came to cheer on the guys. The whole hotel was packed with his friends and family from back home. After they got there the hotel was never the same. People were EVERYWHERE! When they arrived, so did the fun.

Shannon and I went and put all our stuff up in our room and then went down and started meeting everybody. We went into the sitting area where Lance's parents were sitting waiting for Lance to come back down. Everywhere we went we kept running into somebody with either N Sync or part of the Janet Jackson crew. Shannon and I got dressed and as we were leaving our room I heard JC call out and say, "Hey Short-ey!" He came up and gave me a hug and a kiss and Joey did the same. I looked into Joey's eye and the boy had one contact in his left eye in the Superman shape and colors. It was scary!!! They were heading down stairs to do a "Meet & Greet" in the courtyard of our hotel. Chris was no where to be found because a day or two before he took out the dreads and too many people were fussing about it so he spent all day with his hairdresser putting them back in. This time he got small, thin, braids that rap around his face. They look great as usual. I wish I got a chance to see his hair without them first.

So Shannon and I went out to get some real Louisiana Seafood Gumbo, great stuff! And as we were walking Bourbon Street Lance and Allison and his family walked by heading back to the hotel. They got to go out together for about a half an hour because they had to leave for the Superdome at 5:00pm. When they all left, we all started to get ready. As we were getting ready (yes it took 2 hours) everybody was comming in and out of our room, we were going over to their rooms, the halls were crowded! Then Jenna got there. She lives in Mobile, Alabama and has tried to meet Chris 3 times and always got the other guys but missed him everytime, so I invited her to stay with us and I introduced them. She was going to the show anyways so now she had someone there and wasn't alone. We left for the show at 7:15 pm and we RUSHED out of there! The show started at 7:30pm and we were running late. We got to the Superdome and there wasn't one place to park so we cheated and parked where there was an empty space in the street, and we didn't get a ticket OR towed!!! It was our night! We rushed in and as we found our seats the lights went out and the show started. We were in the 7th row and in the first 3 seats. We had a great view, but one thing I have never seen before was the security made us sit down! I thought they liked the crowd going wild during the show?

So the guys came out one by one dressed as Yoda from "Starwars" and when the music hit they threw off their robes to reveal their white spacesuits. The crowd went WILD! I think most the people there were to see the guys! N Sync t-shirts and books were everywhere! Girls with posters and pictures, screaming for Lance, and Justin, crying when JC looked their way or when Chris and Joey tossed a smile in their direction. The dance lasted for about 10 minutes until the helmets came off and when they did Justin started in with..."You are all I ever wanted..." and the screams were deafening! (of course they were comming from me! Hahaha...) When they started the song they ripped the spacesuits off to reveal beautiful silk Oriental style outfits and they were in different colors.They pumped up the show, and then they did their rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Overjoyed", at that point I balled my eyes out! It was fantastic! The whole show, Janet and all! After they left the stage there was a 45 minute break as they set up Janet's stage. We were all walking around hob-nobbing and I looked back and noticed Lance's and Justin's family sitting about 7 rows behind us. Allison went over and talked to them for a while. The show began again and it was a show NOT to miss! The guys got a private booth at the top of the stadium to watch it too. It was a three act play and Janet has enough energy for a whole army! Before it was over we rushed back to the hotel after "Rope Burn" to beat the crowd. We changed and got ready to go out. It was a LONG night!
When we got back to the hotel I called Allison's room to see what was going on for the night and she didn't know, so instead of waiting around we went over to another friends room and we saw him in the hall. He went to meet up with Allison so we went and took his buddies, that he left to watch tv in the room, out for the night. The guys and their mass load of followers went and spent some time at the "House Of Blues", so Shannon, Jenna, George, Earl, and I walked Bourbon Street and had a ball! Shannon, George, and Jenna.
We headed down the street and Earl decided to join a crowd of people line dancing in the middle of the street.Earl would be the only white boy in the back.
As we came back up the street we ran into Lance and Joey and ALL of Mississippi following close behind. Lance was in heaven with all his close friends by his side. We went on with the night and tried to go get something to eat but everything was either closed or closing so we went back to the hotel, dropped off the Exploror and headed back down to Bourbon Street to a little club Chris said they were gonna go check out. I think it was called Rufoo's right past Tolouse Street. We went in and the place was PACKED! People were EVERYWHERE!!! So we walked to the back out into the courtyard and then I felt this hand grab at me and pull me, as I turned and looked Chris gave me a big hug and kiss and said, "ready to have fun!?" I introduced him to Jenna and she nearly fell out! She said her heart was beating so fast that it was like a drum solo. It was funny. So we started hob-nobbing and walking around and I ran into Joey and Justin, JC was just sitting back and relaxing. Lance was all over the place! Entertaining everyone! He soon hit the dance floor and so did everyone else!

It got a bit stuffy in there so I went outside for a few minutes of breathing time and when I did JC was leaving with his bodyguard. I talked to him for a few minutes then he walked back to the hotel.JC and I on Bourbon Street
We went back into the club and everyone was dancing! Justin was kickin' it on the dance floor and right when we got on the floor "I Want You Back" came on. The crowd went wild and the guys all started cracking up laughing! It was a funny moment to see the guys jamming to their own music.Party Boy Justin!

Joey and I met up and joked a bit then it was on to another part of the crowd!
Chris was being sweet as ever and having a good 'ol time! He had friends who came over from Orlando to party with him and was enjoying himself more then I have ever seen. Everyone who was just at the club wanted to meet Chris. He was the party boy and Justin and Joey were not far behind. Justin was all over the dance floor!
Chris and I spent some time talking about nothing and loved every minute of it.Chris, Jenna, and my big head!

We had a long night and after the party at Rufoo's Shannon, Jenna, and I headed back to the hotel at about 3:30am while the rest of the group went over to The Cat's Meow for a cool down and then came back to the hotel at about 4:00am or so. After running around the hotel and making a bunch of noise we all went to bed at about 6:00am.
After, our not so long, slumber we all got up at about 9:30am and began getting ready to go our seperate ways. I talked to Chris that morning and said goodbye to Justin and JC. Joked around with Chris' hairdresser and saw Allison and her friends leave and then talked to JC about the Halloween show in Germany and the new book comming out. As Shannon said her goodbyes the valet brought the car around and as we drove off the guys waved as they were getting on the bus. We headed back west on I-10 and after my 4 and a half hour sleep in the car, we were back in Houston.
