We've been together along time,
Five years . . . alot longer that most people are ever around
And we've been friends, which is more than most people will ever have.
When you've been together for as long as we have,
Things don't always get healed.
We've always had our disagreements
We've never looked the same way at anything.
I'm not the kind that makes appologies
And she's not the kind that makes mistakes.
But still, we've been together along time.
I've had my beliefs, my hopes
She's had her science, her logic
But through it all,
We've always had each other.
... until now ...
