BEVERLY BECK STEWART, 85, passed away on July 4,
2014 at Abilene, TX, with burial was at Evergreen
Cemetery in Ranger, TX.
Beverly was born on March 9, 1929 at Bristol, OK
to Aurthur Samuel & Audra Faye (Smith) Beck. She
grew up and attended Odessa College . She moved to
Ranger in 1968, while in Ranger, she was a member
of the First Baptist Church, Jars of Clay Sunday
School Group, & was active in many other community
affairs including being a Bulldog Booster for many
years. She worked for the Ranger School District for
over 24 years as a secretary before retiring.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, husband
Willis Raymond Stewart, 1 sister, Carol Sue Simmons,
1 daughter, Debra Suzzann Sharp.
At the time of her death, she was survived by 5 sons;
Sammy Lee Hendrix and Billy Joe Hendrix both of Ranger,
Ernest “Gene” Hendrix (RHS-1976) of Sweetwater, Timothy
Wayne Stewart of Ranger, Mark Anthony Lucky of Ranger
and Special Daughter-in-Law Samatha Stewart of Ranger;
1 brother, Ronald Smith Beck of Austin; numerous grand-
children, great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces
nephews and a host of friends.
