Dallas Works Memorial - In Remembrance
WILLIAM "BILL" EUGENE CLEMENTS, 64, of Wills Point, passed away October 3, 2009, in Dallas. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00pm, Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at Russell Memorial United Methodist Church, with Rev. Ray Reed officiating. Burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. William “Bill” Eugene Clements was born September 19, 1945, in Commerce, TX, to Jeff and Christine Smith Clements. He grew up in Mesquite, graduated from Mesquite High School and then attended Eastfield College for two years. Bill then served his country in the United States Marine Corp, having served in Germany, California and North Carolina. After returning from the military, Bill married his high school sweetheart, Jeanette Thompson on April 4, 1970, in Tyler, Texas. They made their home in Mesquite until moving to Wills Point in 1978. Bill retired from AT&T after more than thirty years of service. He was a member of Russell Memorial United Methodist Church. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Christine Clements, brother, Tom Clements and sister, Ruth Lauriece Weiss. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Clements of Wills Point; son, Brian Clements, his wife, Jeri and their son, Dallas of Troup; daughter, Jennifer Skinner, her husband, Cody and their children Tanner, Bella and expecting William Hudson of Forney; sisters, Oletha Bowen and husband, Freddie of Garland and Joan Thompson and husband, B.J. of Leonard; and many nieces nephews and other family members. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening, 6:00-8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Southwest Transplant Alliance, 3710 Rawlins St, Dallas, TX 75219.
