YVONNE MAY SIMONSON BOOMER, 72, of Marion, IL,
passed away at Dec. 27, 2017, with burial at Casper
Cemetery just north of Anna, IL.
She was born June 4, 1945 in Portage, WI. She married
Alan Crawford in 1963. He preceded her in death in 2000.
She married James “Bud” Boomer in 1987 who preceded her
in death in 2015.
Yvonne retired in 1996 from AT&T, rehired at Lucent in
1997, retired with 30 years in 2000, worked for Tyco for
8 months in management. Her passions were gardening,
interior decorating, and baking.
She is survived by her children, Heather Crawford of
Marion, Laura Crawford of Marion, Guye Crawford of St.
Charles, IL, Gary Crawford of Marion; grandchildren,
Brandon Crawford of Marion, Mitchell Crawford of South
Elgin, IL, Conrad Pasholk of Marion, Meghan Martin of
Oswego, IL; many great-grandchildren; sister, Lucille
of Oxford, WI; brother, Harlan Simonson of Portage, WI;
cousins and other relatives.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents and siblings,
Maxine, Darlene, Rodney, and Lorraine.
