DIANNE OLSON JONES entered into rest on April 6, 2016
in Mesquite, TX, with burial at Laurel Oaks Cemetery in
Balch Springs, TX.
She was born on July 28, 1936 in Hoople, ND to Harold &
Lillian Olson. She moved to Bagley, MN with her family
and attended school there until she relocated to Texas
in 1955, where she spent the remaining years of her life.
Before moving to Texas, Dianne met Billy Jack Clark and
was married in Aug. of 1954. Her marriage to Billy Jack
didn’t last, however she did find love again and wed
Samuel Jones in Oct. of 1976. Dianne was employed with
Western Electric, then eventually Lucent Technology where
she worked for 30 plus years until she retired.
She is preceded in death by her parents Harold & Lillian
Olson. Dianne is survived by her daughter Jackie Deel and
husband Johnny of Rockwall, TX; sons Ronnie Clark and
wife Valerie of Garland, TX and Terry Clark of Mesquite;
granddaughters Jordan Vaughn of College Station, TX,
Bethany Ferguson and husband Jonathan of Garland, and
Paige Clark of Forney, TX; grandsons Connor Clark of
Orlando, FL and Jacob Clark of Mesquite; two great-grand-
daughters and one great-grand son; sisters Mary Samuelson
and Karen Bentz; and brothers Wayne Olson & Harold Olson.
