Jean Hamrick IMOGENE "JEAN" TAYLOR HAMRICK was born on June 30, 1933 in Mabank, TX to parents Elliot Taylor & Lavada (Poss) Taylor and entered into eternal rest on June 24, 2013 at the age of 79. Imogene was a wonderful mother and a very gracious woman, that had a big heart and was the matriarch of the family. Imogene was also stubborn, but witty with a genuine sense of humor. She always spoke her mind. Imogene loved music, especially Tracy Byrd. She enjoyed watching Nascar, baseball, football and was a fan of the Longhorns. Imogene graduated from Mabank High School. She worked as an assembly worker before becoming a Ferrod switch operator at AT&T. Imogene was Baptist by faith. Imogene was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Hamrick, parents, sister Helen Halcro and brother John Taylor. At the time of her death, she was survived by her sons; Ronnie Hamrick and wife Sharron of Richardson, Randy Hamrick and wife Lynn of Mesquite, Alan Hamrick and wife Jennifer of North Richland Hills, brother Carl Taylor and wife Rae of Athens, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one great- great-grandchild, other loving family members and many friends.
