WINIFRED PAULINE "WINNIE" BEASLEY peacefully passed away
on July 7, 2012, with burial at Restland Memorial Park
in Dallas, TX.
She was born April 23, 1930, in Elkhart, IN. She was one
of three daughters and two sons born to Lloyd and Gladys
Stokes. She grew up in Joplin, MO, where she met and
married the love of her life, Bill Beasley. They married
in 1946 and had two sons, Billy and Bobby. They moved to
Mesquite, TX, in 1962. Bill passed away in 1977 and Winnie
resided in Mesquite for the rest of her life. She retired
from Western Electric. She is preceded in death by her
parents, her brothers, Bud and Don, her son, Billy, and
her husband, Bill.
She is survived by two sisters, Novella Hamlin and Retha
McLaughlin, of Joplin, MO and sister-in-law, Paula Stokes
of Tulsa. She is also survived by son, Bob Beasley, and
wife, Margaret of Mesquite; daughter-in-law, Brenda Beasley,
granddaughters, Becky Davis and husband, Rex, BJ Winburn
and husband, Kenny all of Weatherford; granddaughter Amanda
Holdbrook and husband, Brad, and grandson, Ben Beasley
all of Dallas. She is also survived by great-grandchildren,
Hannah and Alex Winburn and Jake and Gracie Davis all of
Weatherford. She was completely devoted and loving to her
family and will be missed dearly by all of us.
