OSCAR ROY "SLICK" BOMER was born April 20, 1938, in Palestine,
TX and passed away July 10, 2008, in Dallas, TX at the age of
70. Interment was at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite,
Texas.
Roy retired from Lucent Technologies after 33 years of dedicated
employment. He then started a new journey and worked with many
wonderful people he considered his friends at Lute Riley Honda.
He is preceded in death by his parents, ER and Bessie Bomer.
“Slick” is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 38 years,
Sharon Bomer, children; Mark Bomer, Marcy Montelongo and husband,
Junior, Michael Bomer, and Brad Allen, grandchildren; Zachery
Bomer, Braeden Bomer, Jeremie Bomer, Isaac Allen, Xavier Montelongo,
Devon Montelongo, Makayla Bomer, Jaylen Bomer, Shaun Allen, and
Shane Allen, brother, Elton Bomer and wife, Kim. Roy has many
nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and many in-laws that
he leaves behind. We will all miss him more than words can express.
