LARRY JAY BROWDER, SR. was born Nov. 11, 1930 and passed
away March 28, 2008. He is preceded in death by his mother,
Ruth Browder and father, Archie Browder. He is survived by
his longtime friend, Marinell Price; son, Larry Browder, Jr.
and wife Jackie; grandsons, Travis and Brett Browder and
many cousins in North Texas.
He served as an officer in the U.S. Army during the Korean War
and was stationed in Germany. Larry graduated from Oklahoma
State University and was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity.
He worked for Ford Motor Company for many years and retired
from AT&T/Lucent after a long and successful career. He
enjoyed traveling throughout the world and regular fishing
trips to Alaska.
