ADOLFO RUIZ was born on Nov. 6, 1927 in Dallas,
TX, passed away Oct. 17, 1994, after a lengthy
battle with cancer. A WWII Naval & U.S. Air
Force veteran who served in Korea graduated from
Houston Tech University, and worked for Bendix
Radio from 1960 to 1962, gathering data for
N.A.S.A. Longtime electronics technician for
AT&T from 1970 to 1993, an active member of CWA
until retirement.
He was preceded in death by parents, Isaac and
Maria J. Ruiz; brother & sister-in-law, Arthur
and Delores Ruiz. He was survived by his wife,
Mary; daughter & son-in-law, Roxanne R. & David
Wierman and much loved grandson, Alexander Wierman;
sisters, Mrs. Lily Kelly of Houston, TX, Mrs. Lenore
Garcia of Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Aurora Davila of
Dallas, TX; brother, Nieves Ruiz, Farmers Branch,
texas and numerous nieces and nephews. Burial was
at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
