RONALD REX "R.J." ALFORD, JR., 35, passed
from this life to the next, surrounded by his
family and friends on Nov. 17, 2017 in Abilene,
TX, with burial in Merriman Cemetery near Ranger,
TX.
R.J. was born on Feb. 10, 1982 in Fort Worth, TX
to Ronald Rex Alford Sr. & Vicki Carole Bramlett
Alford. He graduated from Ranger High School at
Ranger. R.J. had been an owner and manager of
the El Rancho Café in Ranger, owned Furniture USA
in Eastland, & most recently was the cafeteria
manager at Ranger College.
He is survived by his mother, Vicki Alford of Ranger;
sister, Carole Lynn Newsome and husband, Jerry of
Weatherford; brother, Greg Alford and wife, Donna
of Carbon; and several nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his father, Ronald Rex Alford
Sr. and his grandparents.
