LEANN FRIDAY RIDENS, 61, Human Resource Specialist,
passed away on Sept. 10, 2019, with burial in the
Desdemona Cemetery.
LeAnn was born in Olton, TX on Dec. 11, 1957 to the
late, Orvil Friday & Nadine Ishmael (RISD teacher).
She attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1977
at Ranger, TX. LeAnn married Claud Ridens in Oct.
of 1982 at Ranger.
LeAnn was a past member of The Stephenville Chamber
of Commerce, Ambassadors, and Leadership Stephenville.
LeAnn was instrumental in starting the Stephenville
Visual Arts Boosters and she was also instrumental
in bringing Ranger College to Stephenville.
LeAnn is survived by her husband, Claud Ridens; son,
Brandon Lee Ridens and wife Marina of San Antonio,
TX; step-daughter, Kimberly Watson and husband Brian
of Shreveport, LA; siblings, Cheryl Friday Oubre and
husband John of Granbury, TX; Darsa Wright (RHS-1982)
of Bedford, TX; and Blaine Huston (RHS-1995) of Rio
Vista, TX.
