MICHAEL "MIKE" EARL EWING, 61, of Ranger,
TX passed from this life May 27, 2019 after years
of pain and disability. His request was to be
cremated.
Michael was born April 1, 1958 in Sweetwater, TX
to Marlon Earl & Virginia Ogden (RHS-1953) Ewing.
He moved to Ranger in his youth and was a graduate
of Ranger High School in the Class of 1976. He
attended trade school to study small engine repair.
This training served him well as a machinist and
drag racing enthusiast. Not only did Michael build
and work on his own drag racer, he was also a racer
himself. His car was known as "Bankrupt." His love
of drag racing was only out shadowed by his love
for his son, grandkids and great-grandkids.
Michael is survived by his son, Robert Earl Ewing
and wife Jacquetta of Ranger, grandkids: T.J. Ewing
(RHS-2011) and wife Heather, Ricky Ewing (RHS-2012)
and Makaela Ewing (RHS-2017), great-grandkids; Sylas,
Montie and Alley Ewing.
He is preceded in death by his parents Marlon and
Virginia Ewing and one precious great-grandchild,
Kysen Ewing.
