CHARLES WAYNE JOHNSON, 29, died Aug. 4, 1982,
at Eastland, TX & was a member of the Ranger High
School Class of 1971 at Ranger, TX.
He was born in Ranger on June 15, 1953 to Wanda
Jo Ketchersid & Clarence Wallace Johnson. He
had two sisters, Judy Ann Johnson & Betty Johnson
Kennedy (RHS-1967), both deceased.
MOTHER: WANDA KITCHERSID JOHNSON, 88, passed away
July 1, 2014 in Abilene, TX, with burial at Evergreen
Cemetery in Ranger, TX.
Wanda was born on Feb. 1, 1926 at Crowell, TX to
Arthur Guy & Annie (Murphy) Kitchersid. She moved
to Ranger in 1943 to attend Ranger Jr. College. After
graduating she married Wallace Johnson in 1945, where
they lived and raised a family. She was a member of
the Ranger Church of Christ and worked as a Financial
Advisor until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1
son and 2 daughters. Survivors at the time of her
death include 1 sister, Patsy Martin and numerous
nieces and nephews.
