BOBBY DEAN O'NEILL, 71, of Evant, TX passed into
the everlasting arms of Jesus on Oct. 9, 2022
surrounded by his family in Round Rock, TX, with
burial at the Central Texas State Veterans
Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Bobby was born to Kenneth Beasley O'Neill & Myrtle
Lucille Ainsworth O'Neill (McGough) on March 15,
1951 in Ranger, TX. He attended Ranger High School
in the Class of 1970 at Ranger, TX. Bobby married
Margaret Louise Huckaby (RHS-1970) in Oct. of 1970
at Ranger while serving in the U.S. Army from 1970-
1978 in the First Cavalry. He graduated from Tarleton
State University in 1985 with a degree in Criminal
Justice. During his lifetime he served his communities
in various capacities including the U.S. Army, Ranger
Police Department, Texas Juvenile Justice Department,
and last, but certainly not least, as a special
education teacher, coach & bus driver for Star ISD
in Star, Texas. Bobby enjoyed his NASCAR, XBox Live
gaming, gardening and gold prospecting.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret, and his 3
younger siblings: Ruby O'Neill (RHS-1972) of Ranger,
Tina O'Neill Thomas (RHS-1981) of Ranger and James
(RHS-1979) and wife Brenda O'Neill of Amarillo, TX.
Bobby & Margaret have 5 children from their almost
52 years of marriage: Sabrina Wagley (RHS-1990) of
Evant, TX, Russell Paul and wife Wendy O'Neill of
Evant, TX, Tommie Ann Parker of Eastland, TX, Robert
and wife Angela O'Neill of Star, TX, and Dwayne
O'Neill of Stephenville, TX. They have 9 grand-
children: Aaron O'Neill, Eric O'Neill, Dustin O'Neill,
Zackary Parker, Leanne Parker, Jacob Wagley, Tommy
O'Neill, Evelynne O'Neill, and Avery O'Neill. Bobby
and Margaret have one great-grandson, Aleksandr
Wagley and one more on the way, Gunner Parker.
