JERRY DON JOHNSTON, 71 of Cisco, TX passed
away Sept. 17, 2017, with burial at the Merriman
Cemetery near Ranger, TX.
Mr. Johnston was born on Dec. 7, 1945 in Ranger to
Bill W. Johnston & Ima Mae Pruitt (RHS-1937) Johnston.
He attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1965
at Ranger, TX & married Phillis Stewart in Aug. of
1964 at Olden. He worked in the oil field & attended
Leon River Cowboy Church.
Survivors include his wife, Phillis Johnston; a son,
Gerald Johnston (Kiri); 2 daughters, Donna Alford
(Greg) and Sheila Spradlin (Jason); a brother, Roger
Dale Johnston; 3 sisters, Gladys Johnston Walker (RHS-
1961), Joann Johnston Kinder (RHS-1959), and Mary
Johnston Choate (RHS-1967); 14 grandchildren; and 12
great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and
nephews.
