FRED ALLEN GREEN, 66, died on Nov. 12, 2007 in
Temple, with burial in Moffat Cemetery.
He was born in Ranger, TX on Oct. 15, 1941, to Berta
Lee Drake and Ernest Roland Green. He attended Ranger
High School but was a graduate of Stephenville High
School. Fred attended Tarleton State and Temple College.
He was married to Leta J. Tarver in Burnet, TX, in
August of 1960. His sister was Marie Green DuMouchel
(RHS-1944). He was retired from the Division of
Information Services, Temple College. His father,
the late Dr. Ernest Green, was a chiropractor for
years in Ranger.
Survivors at the time of his death include his wife
Leta Green of Moffat; two sons, Glenn Green of
Huntsville, TX, and Bryan Green of Cedar Hill, TX;
two brothers, Ernest Green (RHS-1938) of Ft. Worth,
TX and Harold Green (RHS-1949) of Abilene, TX; one
grandchild.
