MONA LEE ANGUS PRESLAR, 77, died on May 4, 2017
in Odessa, TX. She was born on Jan. 25, 1940 in
Ranger, TX to Jack O. & Lucilla Davis Angus. Mona
attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1958
and married Sanford Dee Preslar in 1958. He died
in 2011. Their children were Trey Preslar, Trapper
Preslar, Trinity Preslar, & Denise Preslar Davis.
Siblings of Mona were James Angus (RHS-1970) and
Jacqueline Angus Ball (RHS-1956).
HUSBAND: SANFORD DEE "SANDY" PRESLAR II, 73, of
Odessa, TX passed from this life on Feb. 14, 2011,
with burial in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX.
He was born on Feb. 4, 1938 to the late Sanford Dee
Sr. and Orleana Cosatt Preslar in Fort Worth, TX.
He married Mona Angus (RHS-1958) in June of 1958 in
Ranger. They celebrated over 52 years of marriage
together.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son:
Troy Preslar.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife: Mona
Preslar of Odessa; sons: Trey Preslar and wife Jacque,
Trapper Preslar and wife Misty, Trinity Preslar and
wife Crissy, all of Odessa; daughter: Denise Davis
and husband Wesley of Abilene; brother: Layne Preslar
and wife Sue of Three Rivers, NM; and eleven grand-
children: Jade and Chelsea Preslar, Dillon, Jordan,
Reagan, and Keaton Davis, Hannah, Taylor, and Trison
Preslar, and Tanner and London Preslar.
