ROY EUGENE BARNHILL, 76, died Jan. 11, 2013, with
burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, TX.
Roy was born on Feb. 24, 1936 at Altus, OK, to
Robert E. & Marry Ann (Pierce) Barnhill. The family
moved back to Texas where he was raised and attended
school in Ranger, graduating from Ranger High School
in 1954 and Ranger Jr. College. He served in the
National Guard and married Cleo Laird in November
of 1958 at Dallas. They made their home in Ranger
where Roy worked restoring old cars. He had served
on the Ranger School Board.
Roy is survived by his wife, Cleo of the home, a
daughter, Susan Barnhill (RHS-1978) and husband
Robert Rogers of Ranger and a host of friends &
other relatives.
