HERBERT ELLIS WILLIAMS, 79, passed away June 7, 2014
in Bedford, TX, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery
at Ranger, TX.
Mr. Williams was born July 9, 1934 in Ranger to Samuel
Thomas & Vesta Elizabeth (Keck) Williams. He graduated
from Ranger High School in 1953. He served in the
National Guard for several years and married Mary Jo
Stie (RHS-1954) in November of 1957 in Ranger. Herbert
was a member of the First Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Eugene
Williams (RHS-1947).
Survivors at the time of his death include his wife,
Mary Jo Williams; a daughter, Susan Williams Shepherd
& husband Adam of Colleyville; a brother, Charles Lee
Williams (RHS-1950) & wife Fran of Tucker, GA; and
granddaughter, Katie Shepherd of Colleyville.
