Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1951

Bill Patterson BILLY MYLES PATTERSON, 86, of Odessa, TX passed away on Nov. 29, 2020, with burial in Ector County Cemetery. He was born on Dec. 3, 1933 in Ranger, TX to the late Pearl Choat & Elzo Patterson. He attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1951 for a short time. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1950-1954 during the Korean War. He was stationed in Germany during the occupation of Germany. He married Barbara Payne in June of 1956. He retired from Gulf Oil & started Circle P Ranch Supply in 1977. He loved raising chickens and loved horses & racehorses. His grandchildren were a true delight to him & he enjoyed spoiling them however possible. Bill was truly one of a kind. His laugh was infectious and his sense of humor was hilarious. He survived more crazy life experiences and incidents/accidents than most people can imagine. He was a believer in Jesus so we know he is healed and laughing in Heaven today. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Patterson (RHS-1955). Bill is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara Patterson; daughter, Cindy Cobb; son, Willy Patterson and wife Julie; siblings, Jimmy Patterson (RHS-1950) and wife Karen, Barbara Patterson Fullingim (RHS- 1958) and husband Mick, Mike Patterson and wife Millie, Lana Chambers and husband Vick; sister- in-law, Gloria Patterson; grandchildren, Jason Cobb, Tish Crawford, Jesse Cobb, Shane Patterson and Brooklyn Patterson; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
