JERRIE BOWEN JONES, 77, of Breckenridge, TX died
April 19, 2009, in Abilene. Jerrie was in the Ranger
High School Class of 1950 at Ranger, TX and married
Dale Jones from Woodson. She was a Ranger Jr. College
graduate. They lived in Breckenridge, TX.
HUSBAND: DALE JONES, 82, died on July 7, 2011 at
his residence surrounded by his family.
Dale Jones was born on Nov. 21, 1928 in Woodson, TX
to A.T. Jones & Maude Scott Jones. He graduated from
Ranger Jr. College and married Jerrie Ann Bowen (RHS-
1950) in August of 1950 at Ranger. Dale was a member
of & deacon at the First Christian Church and member
of the Breckenridge Masonic Lodge for over 50 years.
He worked in oilfield consulting and production.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Jerrie
Jones, and brothers, Leon and Pete Jones, sister-in-
law, Patsy Jones, & a granddaughter, Shawnda Carnley.
Survivors at the time of his death, include a daughter
Leigh Ann Jones Sanders of Breckenridge; son, Larry Jones
and wife, Sherry of Anton; sister, Lenda Morris of Fort
Worth; brothers, J.D. "Judd" Jones and wife, Reba of
Woodson, Henry "Babe" Jones of Woodson, and Delbert
Jones and wife, June of Breckenridge; 7 grandchildren,
and 10 great-grandchildren.
