MARY MARGARET KITCHENS GIBSON, 91, passed away
peacefully on Sept. 23, 2021 in Stephenville, TX,
with burial in the family cemetery at Gordon, TX.
Without a doubt, she was welcomed home by her Lord
and Savior, Jesus Christ and was reunited with her
mother, husband, sons, nephew, and many friends.
What a celebration that must have been!
Mary was born April 9, 1930 to Leonard Kitchens &
Margie Jennings Kitchens in Strawn, TX. She attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 1947 and married
Hershel Gibson (RJC) in June of 1947 at Mineral
Wells, TX.
We have laughed a million laughs and cried just as
many tears together. Words cannot express how much
we will miss you, Grammy. We will never forget how
much you loved us. Mary was best known for her pride
and love for her family through multiple generation.
Her hobbies were reading, listening to Gospel music,
watching Hallmark movies, and working on puzzles.
Mary's survivors are son, Judd Gibson and wife Diana
of Stephenville; daughter, Vicki Dunn and husband
Tommy of Glen Rose; grandchildren, Heath Gibson,
Clint Gibson, Sheila Surovik, Tyler Dunn, TW Dunn,
Teryl Dunn, Austin Gibson, and Morgan Gibson; and
11 great-grandchildren.
