ELIZABETH "BETH" GARRISON BERRY, 78, was
born in Ranger to Willie Lee "Billie" Thurmon and
William Seaman Garrison on Aug. 14, 1930 & graduated
from Ranger High School with the Class of 1947. Her
brother was Dickie Garrison (RHS-1952). She was
married to Edwin R. Berry and they lived in Rancho
Palos Verde, CA, where she was an author, artist,
illustrator, publisher & well-known TV personality
as well as music teacher. She had been in a nursing
home for the last six years since having a stroke.
Beth died at a local hospital on Jan. 22, 2009 and
survived by her husband.
