Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1945

Lilburn Baker LILBURN AARON BAKER SR., 90, of Searcy, AR passed away April 2, 2017 Lilburn was born June 4, 1926 in Liberty Hills, TX. He attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1945 at Ranger, TX. Lilburn was a member of First Baptist Church in Kensett. Lilburn was a WWII veteran; serving in the U.S. Army. He was retired from Samuel Bingham & served as a volunteer with the White County Medical Center Auxiliary for 14 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Harris Baird and step-father Clifton Baird of Searcy, two step- brothers, Clifton Baird Jr. of Beebe, AR, & Bill Baird of Breckenridge, TX and his beloved wife of 69 years, JoAnn Baker. He leaves behind three sons, John E. Baker (Gale) of Fence Lake, NM, Aaron Baker (Karen) of Rose Bud, AR, Ron Baker (Terri) of Batesville, AR; nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. WIFE: JO ANN ROSENQUEST BAKER, 89 of Searcy, TX passed away April 12, 2015, with interment at White County Memorial Gardens. She was born ib Oct. 20, 1925 in Sweetwater, TX. Jo Ann was a member of First Baptist Church in Kensett. She retired from Remington Rand. For the past fifteen years she served as a member of the White County Medical Center Auxiliary & loved her time spent as a volunteer. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.A. & Ina Rosenquest of Breckenridge, Texas and a brother, John A. Rosenquest. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 68 years, Lilburn Baker; three sons, John E. Baker (Gale) of Fence Lake, NM, Aaron Baker (Karen) of Rose Bud, AR, Ron Baker (Terri) of Batesville, AR; nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
