BILLIE FAYE POUNDS BESKOW, 69, died at Abilene,
TX on June 19, 1997, with interment at the Eastland
City Cemetery.
Mrs. Beskow was born in Ranger, TX where she grew
up and was a 1944 graduate of Ranger High School.
She worked at the Ranger Times before marrying
Charles Beskow in 1948 and they moved to Eastland.
She was active in the family business, Beskow
Jewelry, for 49 years. She was a member of the
First Christian Church. She had two sons; Randy
Beskow of Beaumont and Craig Beskow of Cleburne;
three brothers, Adron Pounds (RHS-1932) and
Joe Bob Pounds (RHS-1941) of Alabama and Leonard
M. Pounds (RHS-1929) who died in 1996; two sisters,
Inez Pounds Belknap (RHS-1936) of Gun Barrel City
& Oleta Pounds Surles (RHS-1936) of Kemp; & three
grandchildren.
