BERTHA MARIE GROCE GLANDON passed away June 10,
2020, with burial in the Colony Cemetery near
Ranger, TX.
She was born in Ranger, TX to Hurshel Burr Groce
& Lela Mae Crabb Groce on Oct. 13, 1925. She
attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1943.
After graduating in Ranger, she moved to Dallas to
attend business college. She worked for Hydrotex
Corp. and retired from there upon completion of
41 years. After retiring she took many "Road Trips"
around the U.S. with bestfriend Ilene Ground. She
loved collecting magnets, reading books & watching
Texas Ranger baseball.She was a Christian and
member for many years at Arlington Baptist Temple.
A longtime Arlington resident, she is preceded in
death by her first husband, Odell Orton and second
husband, Toby Glandon; & brother, William T. Groce.
Survivors: Nephews, Bill Groce Jr., CA and Robert
Groce, Chicago, IL; and niece Donna Corbin, CA.
