Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1943

BETTY LOUISE "BOOTS" WHITE, 75, of Ranger, TX passed away at a local hospital in 2000, with interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger. Miss White was born on Aug. 6, 1925 in Ranger to Ven O. and Ella Betty Dreinhofer White. She was a graduate of Ranger High School and of Texas Women's University. She worked as an occupational therapist for the Veterans Administration Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, for many years. Upon retiring she moved back to Ranger. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was active in the community, serving as a board member of the Pioneer Cemetery Association, Charter member of the Ranger Historical Society, Ranger Beautification Committee just to name a few. She was an avid fan of Ranger College Baseball and was given a plaque. She was also caretaker to anyone in town that needed help with errands and feeding animals. She loved all animals and she loved her hometown. Survivors at the time of her death include her mother Ella Betty White of Ranger.
