ALWYN JOE WILLIAMS, 75, died in Arlington, TX,
with interment in the Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger,
TX. He was born on Dec. 14, 1924 in Ranger and
graduated from Ranger High School in 1943. He
entered the U.S. Navy serving during WW II as a
shipbuilder. He married Ila Jean Ervin in 1946
at Lampassas. He worked for 30 years as a welder
in the General Motors plant in Arlington. He
died April 1, 1999 while living in Arlington.
