FRANCES HAZARD COLE, 81, of Eastland, TX passed away
on Dec. 8, 2005, with burial in the Eastland City
Cemetery at Eastland.
Frances was born Nov. 20, 1924 in Ranger, TX to O.T. &
Bertha (White) Hazard. She graduated from Ranger High
School and then Ranger Jr. College. She married Jack W.
Cole in March of 1944 at Cisco. She worked for Laquetta
Coan and later for Greer's Department Store for several
years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church VII
Dorcas Class.
Mr. Cole preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1974.
Survivors at the time of her death include a cousin,
Margaret Draper of Sugar Land; a brother-in-law, R.V.
Cole (RHS-1942) of Garland; a niece, Karen Owens of
Garland; and many special friends including Dale and
Sue Bakker, Vaneta Rhodes, Darla Lowrance, Linda Harbin
and Polly Smith.
