GWENDOLYN LOARINE DAWN PARRISH, 82, a native of
Peerless, TX, and resident of Houma, LA, died on
Sept. 19, 2006, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery
at Ranger, TX. She attended Ranger High School in
the Class of 1940.
At the time of her death, she was survived by two sons,
Leslie E. Parrish and wife, Linda, of Bridgeport, TX,
and Ronnie D. Parrish and wife, Annette, of Odessa,
Texas; one daughter, Rebecca Dawn Parrish Poiencot
and husband, Joseph, of Abbieville; 11 grandchildren;
17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grand-
children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. "Jelly"
Parrish (RHS-1942); and one daughter-in-law, Charlotte
Williams Parrish.
