LOIS LAVELLE LIEDTKE BRAGG PARNELL, 90, of
Paducah, TX, passed away on March 9, 2014 in
Childress.
Lois was born on February 4, 1924 in Bonham, TX,
to Elbert & Gertrude (Windsor) Bragg. She was in
the Ranger High School Class of 1939 at Ranger, TX.
A pioneer West Texas woman, she was a longtime
resident of Paducah. Lois loved to sew, cook
and read, and was a member of the First Baptist
Church of Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.F.
Parnell, and a brother, C.V. Bragg.
Survivors at the time of her death include son
David Liedtke of Garrison, TX; sister Jean Pasley
of Fort Worth, TX; and grandchildren Suzanne
Talley & Guthrie Shavor.
HUSBAND: CHARLES FRANKLIN "C.F." PARNELL, 82,
died Sept. 11, 2007 in Childress, TX, with burial
at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Paducah, TX.
C.F. was born Nov. 16, 1924, in Parnell to Charlie
Lee and Bonnie Clark Parnell. He married Lois
Lavelle Bragg (RHS-1939) in May of 1980 at Paducah.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Patricia
Patterson of Tularosa, NM; a brother, Doyle Wayne
Parnell of Paducah; & a sister, Norma Nell Marrs
of Matador.
