JAMES M. WHITE, JR. , 88, passed away on Nov. 11, 2009
in Odessa, TX, after a short illness, with burial in
Sunset Memorial Gardens.
He was born on Nov. 14, 1920, in Comanche County and
grew up in Ranger, TX, attending Ranger High School in
the Class of 1939. Mr. White was a retired salesman.
He was a World War II veteran and served in Africa
& Italy with the Sixth General Hospital & 88th Infantry
Division.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, and son,
Jim. At the time of his death, he was survived by his
daughter, Lana Vaughn; grandchildren, Brian, Allison,
Colette and James & 11 grandchildren. His brother was
James G. White (RHS-1930).
