ROBERT A. PATTERSON, 86, died on June 4, 2008 in
Graham, TX, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in
Ranger, TX.
Mr. Patterson was born Dec. 18, 1921 in Desdemona,
TX. He attended Ranger High School in the Class
of 1938. He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII and
Korea. Mr. Patterson was a retired law enforcement
officer and was a former Chief of Police in Ranger
and Monahans, TX. He was a member of the Methodist
Church.
Survivors at the time of his death: brother, Roy
Patterson (RHS-1943) and wife, Mary of Gustine, TX;
several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death
by five sisters and four brothers. His sisters were
Anna Patterson Gray (RHS-1930), Margaret Patterson
McMichael (RHS-1932), and Betty Patterson Ownby
(RHS-1937).
