MILLARD HERWECK, 78, of the Ranger High School
Class of 1938 at Ranger, TX. He was born on May 25,
1919 & died on Aug. 18, 1997, in Ranger. He married
Doris Jean McCleskey (RHS-1941) in Oct. of 1941 at
Breckenridge, TX. They owned & operated the Ranger
Mattress Company.
They had three children, two sons, Mel Herweck (RHS-
1963) & Rich Herweck (RHS-1964), and a daughter, Mary
Anna Herweck King (RHS-1964). Millard is buried at
Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger. His sisters were Cordelia
Herweck McElroy (RHS-1936) & Ruby Herweck Duke (RHS-
1942).
