HAZEL MARIE STEVENS DEMPSEY TAYLOR, 101,
of Cisco, TX, passed away May 5, 2016 in Cisco.
Hazel was born March 27, 1915 to Arther Fee Stevens &
Winnie Blythe Stevens in White Chapel Texas in Coleman
County. Hazel graduated from Ranger High School at
Ranger, TX in the Class of 1932.
She married Herman Dempsey (RHS-1929) in July of 1931
at Walters, OK & he preceded her in death in 1975. In
1979, she married William Frank Taylor he also preceded
her in 1993. Also preceded by granddaughters Martha
Dempsey & Mildred Price. Hazel was a loving wife and
homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in
Eastland.
Survivors are a daughter: Faye Saunders and husband
Jack of Kemp, TX; son: Herman B. Dempsey II and wife
Paulette of Cisco; grandchildren: Mary Cox of Nevada,
TX; Marie Monrial and husband Sam of McKinney, TX;
Michelle McLean of Cisco; Brack Dempsey and wife
Trinity of Cisco; 13 great-grandchildren & 12 great-
great-grandchildren.
