RAY MONROE GRUBBS (CHRISTOPHER), 85, died
Feb. 4, 1994 in Statesville, NC, with buria
there in Oakwood Cemetery. He was born on
May 30, 1908 in Iredell County, NC to parents
Charlie Christopher (stepfather) and Viola
Bryant. He was adopted by his stepfather &
later his last name was changed to Christopher.
Ray attended Ranger High School in the Class
of 1928 at Ranger, TX and married Virginia
Ranson but later divorced. Their children
were James Christopher and Clara Christopher.
His siblings were Vester Grubbs & Troy Grubbs
(RHS-1926) - both are deceased.
