WILBUR LEWIS "BILL" JONES, 92, passed away Jan. 31,
2003 in San Jose, CA, with burial in San Joaquin
Valley National Cemetery at Santa Nella, CA. He
was on born Feb. 14, 1910 in Ranger, TX. Bill
attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1928/
1929. Bill volunteered for the U.S. Navy during
WWII, stationed in HI. Graduate of Austin, Texas
University, career as Credit Mgr. of Liberty House,
HI, National Sales Mgr. of Remington Rand Univac,
USA. In retirement he loved all sports and reading
great books. Lived in San Jose the past 45 years.
Bill is survived by daughter Nancy Akin, 2 grand-
children David and Richard Akin, 4 great-grand-
children.
