ANNA AZALINE COX PULLEY WALKER, 81, died
in Mesquite, TX in Feb. of 1987, with interment in
the Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX.
She was born in Sidney, TX, on July 1, 1905 and
graduated from Ranger High School with the Class of
1923, and also attended McMurry College. She was
employed by C.E. May Insurance Co., and later with
her husband, Dean Eber Pulley, owned and operated
Pulley Jewelry and Insurance Co. She purchased the
Gholson Hotel in 1986 and renovated the hotel into
an apartment complex. She was the widow of Hall Walker.
She and Mr. Pulley had a daughter, Dena Lois Pulley
(RHS-1953) who married Dan E. Mitchell (RHS-1954).
Her sister was Fannie Cox White (RHS-1926).
