LIFE’S LESSONS FROM DODGEBALL

Kids who wear glasses will always get hit in the face. Never ask the coach to hold your glasses. (He’ll sit on them)
A broken nose bleeds more that a scraped knee. The best player isn’t always the last one left. The worst girl will never get hit nor will she ever hit anyone.
Never make fun of the team you just beat, because some one will hit you in the face next game. (See broken nose) If you aim low you’ll hit the ground. If you aim high you’ll go over everyone’s head. Only boys get hit in the groin. Only girls who like you will hit you in the groin. If a boy likes you he will hit you in the face. If a girl likes you she will take a hit for you. (Only if you’re a good player) Girls who are developed will only get hit in the chest.
Never argue with the coach, she won’t let you play any more. If you hide in the back, you’ll be the first one hit. Some balls hurt more than others. Even if they look soft they will hurt. If a girl hits and hurts you never cry, even when she hits you in the groin. If a boy hits you and hurts you, don’t cry. He’ll think you like him. Get your friend to hit him in the groin. (See hit in groin) If you do cry, say you got hit in the nose, but it isn’t bleeding and you’ll be okay.
The big strong boys will always try to hit the smallest girls. There is always one boy everyone is afraid of. There is always one girl every one is afraid of. You’ll be a hero if you hit the kid everyone is afraid of. If you hit the kid everyone is afraid of he’ll say it hit the ground first.
If you hit the kid in the groin (chest, she’s always developed), she’ll cry. (and probably beat you up after school).
The best way to get out of playing is to throw up, or say you’re having your period. Throwing up will always work, having your period will only work on guy coaches and not two weeks in a row.

Little Lost Star (orignal)

One day a little star fell at my feet and asked me to help her. She looked so lost and forlorn, I felt for her and said I would, if I could. They didn't love her and asked her to leave the sky, is what she told me. She was only looking for the truth and someone to care for her. I could feel her pain and took her in, and did what I could for her, and in time she became part of my life. We would talk of her hopes and dreams and of why she was so lost and asked to leave the sky. You see she was just trying to find the truth about them and they didn't want her to, so they told her to leave, but wouldn't leave her alone. They would make up lies about her and try to put out her fire. She touched my heart and even through all the hurt and lies and her light was there for me.

Why would you go?

If you would understand

And hear the plan.

We’ve been wrong

But have to be strong.

Must talk it out

And never pout.

To know who cares

Not the one who just stares.
