The Protective Services Detachment (PSD) duties are similar to that of a Bodyguard. As a PSD Agent I was trained in the Army's school of instruction at Ft. McClellan, AL. The school is three weeks long with emphasis on team security, firearms, and defensive driving tactics. PSD Duties include:
- 24 hr Security of the Principal
- Team Security Planning and Procedures
- Weapons Proficiency
- Physical Readiness
- Surveillance and Counter Surveillance
- Defensive Driving Procedures
