Welcome to the Mesquite, Texas Branch

 The Mesquite NAACP was established in 1993, and grew out of a concern that the needs of the diverse population of this growing city were not being met. The Mesquite NAACP strives to be representative of the community and responsive to the concerns of its citizens.

• The Executive Committee meets each 2nd Thursday of the month at Scott Dunford Community Center, 1015 Green Canyon Dr., Mesquite. at 7:30 PM.

 

• The General Membership meeting is held each 3rd Thursday of the month at Children's Habitat Learning Center, 612 Matador Ln., Mesquite, at 7:30 PM.

The dream of equal rights for all is not an impossibility. We as a society have to work together to bring it to actuality. My role as President of the Branch is to serve the NAACP, and to keep the dream alive. I am asking you to join the visions of the many that have gone before us. I know you remember the powerful speech of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., "I have a dream that one day this Nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed... We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal." Please join the Mesquite NAACP and help keep the dream alive!!
