The insecure spread vicious lies
and allow their own notions to permeate
the words of others, and by twisting words
blatantly proclaim their righteousness
to those who really don't care.
Life is not a utopia, nor fair,
nor should it be so, mankind needs its pain,
that which makes the triumph so much sweeter.
Without it would life be worth living -
or dying - for?
Only the ignorant are perpetually correct,
only the insecure act holier than thou.
Respecting another's credence whilst decreeing
it false is not in fact respecting, but rejecting.
Is it right to spread the word of peace through
aggressive actions and idle threats?
Some would respond yes, and they are correct,
for the ignorant man is always wise in his own eyes.
