Coasting through this world,
I know the destination -
have heard of it, perceived it
but the road is dark.
Will I find my way?
These dynamic campaigns -
the war that is life -
the battle for peace, salvation,
even happiness?
Am I Caesar, or Crassus?
To march with undue haste,
maintaining the balance of assertiveness,
logistics, and strategy.
I desire to beat the odds,
but might my army fall on life's battleground?
