Crimson Sky

11/4/96
Matt McDougall

Heated passion cooling
Lovers, enemies
The eerie night pondering

A light breeze sifting
The moist grass battling against
Having been moist, moistened, but no longer

Luminous black clouds
The sickeningly calm nature
A reflection of red

The aftermath of untamed passion
Mars calms his rage
Venus snuggles closer

A terrible tempest passes
Tranquility resumes
Unnoticed unlike its predecessor

The captivation of the moment
Appreciated by no one
Night will soon pass into darkness

Blue shadows cast
Neptune now steps once again
In the path of Uranus

An epic battle
Uranus
Helios emerges

The sun breaks the horizon
