Mr. John Williams and his son Chris were kind enough to take me on
their ranch for a morning of top-water Bass fishing. As the sun started
to rise in the East we launced the boat into one of the cleanes stock tanks
I have had the pleasure of running a lure through.
We used plugs, and a yellow spinner bait with a gold blade to land the ones pictured. A beautiful south Texas morning. Temps were in the low 70's with a slight wind. We started about 7:30 am and came back to shore around 9:30 am. I must say, the fishing was great but the company was even better. I had a great time. I decided not to take a picture of the one I hooked "dirty".hehe

Tuesday July 6, 1999
The second day I decided to head out on my own very early...try 6am.
The tropical depression in the Gulf of Mexico has sent a ton of
moisture into the South Texas Region...we have been getting afternoon
showers and some over-night. The mornings have been spectacular.
Conditions have been perfect and Falcon Lake was ripe for the picking.
I opted for a 20lb. monofilamentline,top-water bait and a healthy dose of optimism. The results were 10+ bass. What fun. All you have to do is crank that sucker along the rocks in about 3' of water and you got one on line.
