By the words that you said
Over and over they replay in my head
You say you need time
It was moving too fast
Never would you hurt me that that didn't last
The love that I gave you was all that I had
Through mixed emotions happy and sad
I try to hid the pain that I feel
But it still hurts this pain is real
A tear will fall, but soon no more
Can it ever be just like before
I need some time it was moving too fast
I couldn't help but wonder could it last
We say we'll be friends
Will out hearts ever mend
Could it be the same
Who is to blame
I love you still and that will never change
I stood by you and always will
You leaned on me and never fell
You try to hide that pain that you feel

Wish upon a star, and dream away
Above in the air
Lost in your stare
Put your arms around me
Take away the day
Lead me to the night
Where our feelings come upon us like

I know for sure

Your touch surrounds me like the warm summer air
I know for sure you will always be there
The best of friends who will always care

Stare at the sun, blinding as it may be
Block out the bad, so that I may not see

Different lives we lead
The different people we think we need
But they do nothing but disapoint us and leave us to bleed

In my path I stopped to see
An angel standing there looking at me
When I asked who he was
He smiled and said just ones lost love
It shocked me so I said I had to go
but with him I took a piece of his soul
His eyes could read me straight through
with his smile he touched me
But still I turned to go
I realized he's with everywhere I go
