Front Porch

One of the most beautiful songs that we play. It all revolves around three chords, C-G-D/F, and many dynamic changes. While this is a very common chord progression, the guitar doesn't just strum it out. I managed to create an intro that flowed well within the progression. The main line drawn in this tune is the vocals. I must say this one of the easiest songs we all play, but it's worth it to listen to the dexterity and truth in Brian's voice. He shows the one side of his singing ability that isn't found anywhere else in our songs. Beauty and brilliance at it's best.

FRONT PORCH
I bet you were wanting to see some song lyrics right here huh? Well it is physically impossible for us to add the lyrics on to this page. Why is that? you ask. Well it's because Brian, in all his slovenly glory, never wrote lyrics to this song. "Well, isn't that kinda hard to perform a song without having lyrics?" you may say. Well, it should be hard. But it wasn't hard at all. Like a fork at dinner time, the lyrics came from Brian's mouth with the ease and grace of Thanksgiving leftovers. (what the hell?) So yeah, extemporaneously (buy a dictionary), Brian made up the words through improv everytime this song was performed on stage. It all kind of centered around a central theme though. The bitch who left him hanging.
