I had a guy check into the motel that was a very quiet man. I checked him with a reservation, and he took his key, no problem. I showed him where his room was going to be. On his way out, he ran into the door (which was locked and said use other door). Twenty minutes after I checked him in, I saw him still driving around looking for his room. I walked outside, and he was high-centered on a curb that seprates our motel from another business. He kept looking at his car wondering why he couldn't drive anymore. He finally somehow got his car off the curb, and drove around a few more minutes. He ended up with his front two tires parked in our grass area, and his back two on the parking lot. I watched him for about 2 hours. He kept doing the head bobbing thing. He passed out for awhile, so I called our security guard. The security guard took the man to his room, finding out that he was extremely drunk. When he asked to see the man's lincense, it had been expired for about 2 years. He asked the man where he was going, and the man said he was about to go to the bar. The fearless security guard called the mans friend to come and get him. The man and his friend got into an arguement, and was then escorted off the property by the security guard.

I had a call from the local police dispatcher, about a captured man. They had captured a man passed out on a local church parking lot. The man told them that he was a guest at our hotel. When they called to confirm the story we couldn't find anyone by that name as a guest. After the police hungup the phone we looked at the folio card for the room the man gave the police. Something about the information on the card just didn't fit. Thinking the police might have someone running from the law we contacted them to let them know about our findings on the folio card. They just started laughing, it appears that the subject had been cheating on his wife, and she had found out. The police told us that the wife was on her way to the station to do her own capital punishment on him!! The moral of this story, when cheating make sure you have a designated driver!!! :)
